Jackie and his Mom lived upstairs from the corner candy store
on a nice block in Brooklyn. It was a great street to live on because
something was always going on. The boys and girls played all kinds of
games on the street, jump rope, tag, stickball. All the kids loved
playing cops and robbers and hide and seek, too.
